December 2025 Panel Price Update: TV Prices Stabilize, Monitor Flat, Notebook Slightly Down

Based on QF Research Center’s latest panel price survey, the display market showed clearer signs of stabilization in December 2025: TV panel prices broadly stopped falling and turned flat MoM, monitor panel prices remained unchanged, while select notebook panel sizes edged down slightly.
TV Panel Prices: Broad Stabilization After November Declines
Different from November, TV panel prices in December stopped the downtrend and became broadly flat. This indicates near-term pricing is moving into a more balanced phase, especially for mainstream large sizes used in global TV production and distribution.
- 65" TV panel: Avg US$168 (Low US$162 / High US$171)
- 55" TV panel: Avg US$121 (Low US$114 / High US$124)
- 43" TV panel: Avg US$63 (Low US$61 / High US$65)
- 32" TV panel: Avg US$34 (Low US$33 / High US$35)
Monitor Panel Prices: Holding Steady Month-on-Month
In December, monitor panel prices stayed the same as the previous month. For brands and channel partners, stable monitor input costs support more predictable promotion planning and inventory decisions across IPS mainstream sizes.
- 27" IPS: Avg US$63 (Low US$57.6 / High US$65.8)
- 23.8" IPS: Avg US$49.9 (Low US$47.1 / High US$51.4)
Notebook Panel Prices: Mild Softness in Select Sizes
Similar to November, notebook panel pricing in December shows slight declines in some larger mainstream specifications. Meanwhile, smaller TN sizes remain stable at their long-held average levels since early July 2024.
- 17.3" TN: Avg US$38 (MoM -US$0.1, -0.3%), Low US$37.4 / High US$39.3
- 15.6" Value IPS: Avg US$40 (MoM -US$0.1, -0.2%), Low US$38.3 / High US$41.4
- 14.0" TN: Avg stable at US$26.9 since early July 2024, Low US$26.4 / High US$28.1
- 11.6" TN: Avg stable at US$25.1 since early July 2024, Low US$24.2 / High US$26.5
QF Market View: What This Means for Sourcing and Inventory
From a supply-chain perspective, TV panel price stabilization often signals a shift from “price-led procurement” to “availability-led procurement.” Buyers may focus more on model matching, lead time control, and allocation reliability—especially for popular sizes (32"/43"/55"/65").
For IT panels, the market remains comparatively stable, but the slight notebook softness suggests procurement teams can still optimize costs through flexible size mix, spec alignment (TN vs IPS), and timing of replenishment.
Procurement Tips: Practical Actions for December–January Planning
- TV brands & traders: lock key sizes with stable supply terms; focus on shipment schedule and defect/yield expectations
- Monitor business: use stable IPS pricing to plan promotions and channel replenishment more confidently
- Notebook OEM/ODM: consider adjusting mix for 17.3" / 15.6" where prices show mild downward flexibility
- Aftermarket / replacement: prioritize consistent sourcing channels and stable grading standards to reduce return risks
